SS26 Kids Trends

In the spirit of starting, again. Let’s start at the beginning - where else - research and trend.

My Pinterest boards are brimming over with ideas, always hoarding inspiration from all over. The overwhelm can get real when it comes to putting pen to paper and starting a new brief though, full of excitement and brimming with creativity but wanning after the initial dopamine high if the building blocks aren’t in place.

Although many client briefs come with gorgeous mood and trend boards I always keep my eye on the market to bring my own thoughts to the table. The best designs are born in collaboration, when we bring our expertise and ideas together.

Starting with SS26 Kidswear I’ve been creating cohesive mood boards to visualise the stories I’m seeing. Filled with jumping off points and idea elongating imagery. Of course there are classic evergreen themes in there, I’m never too far from a dinosaur or a stripe, but updated and coupled with some of the kookier graphic themes coming through.
